the look of Black Hawk Down

Hi Guys,

My usual questions continue...

How did they achieve the look of Black Hawk Down. I'm talking about being able to see all the mud and dirt flying up, and the rotors spinning...

If you're talking about when helicopters land or take off in the film it was done mainly digitally. They wet the floor so that as little sand and dirt moved as possible and then put it using a computer. If you can get a hold of the dvd the special features show you what they had to do.
